Counselling in Port Moody for Adults, Youth (12+) & Couples
Uplifting Every Mind, Embracing Every Journey
About Jill
I'm Jill Sweetable, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
I provide counselling in Port Moody and online across BC for adults, youth (12+), and couples seeking neurodiversity-affirming support for ADHD, autism, late diagnosis, masking, and autistic burnout, as well as therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
Whatever brings you to counselling, I offer a supportive space to explore your experiences, better understand yourself, and develop practical tools for moving forward.
How I Work
I believe therapy works best when you feel understood, respected, and supported in exploring your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
I tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals, drawing from a person-centred approach that values collaboration, authenticity, and respect for your lived experience. I also integrate evidence-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. Together, we'll identify what feels most helpful, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful change.
Whether you're autistic, have ADHD, or are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, or life transitions, therapy is guided by your goals, values, and strengths.
